Mayor Eric Garcetti appoints and Los Angeles City Council confirms Dr. Robert Bitonte, Past President of the Los Angeles County Medical Association to serve on City’s Commission on Disability

LOS ANGELES, CA (June 9, 2014) — Los Angeles County Medical Association (LACMA) announced that Dr. Robert Bitonte, past president of LACMA, has been selected by Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti to join the City’s Commission on Disability.
“I made a commitment to the people of Los Angeles that I would bring experts to positions of leadership in our city, and I’m pleased to appoint Dr. Bitonte to our City’s Commission on Disability,” said Mayor Garcetti.

“I am honored to be appointed by the Mayor and will work diligently to provide my best counsel to advocate for people with disabilities,” said Dr. Bitonte.
